Receivers are made of 4130 moly seamless steel.  Each receiver comes with an accurate CAD drawn template bonded in place. All specs. are on templates so that you can check your progress as you work. Receivers are defined as follows:

Standard Receivers

bulletBlank with template: CAD drawn template bonded on. All work will need to be completed upon purchase.
bullet75% Completed: We will drill the rivet and vent holes for you.  ALL mill work remains to be completed by the purchaser. This includes the cocking handle slot, mag well, and ejection port.
bullet80% Completed (Sten): Cocking handle slot has been cut, and vent holes have been drilled.  All rivet holes are drilled slightly undersize [.100]--Ream up to [.125] to achieve the tightest fit using steel rivets.  Or you can drill the holes to [.136], tap 8 x 36 NF and use button head screws.  The ejection port, sear port, and mag well must be finished by the buyer.

Ventilated Receivers

bulletBlank with template: Template includes precision specs. for cutting vent holes to resemble the Sterling look.
bullet75% Completed: Receiver comes with all rivet holes cut as well as the 35 vent holes.  All mill work remains to be completed by the buyer.
bullet80% Completed: Receiver comes with all rivet holes cut as well as the 35 vent holes.  Cocking handle slot has been mill cut.  The ejection port, sear port, and mag well must be finished by the buyer.

Vertical Receivers

bullet Same variations apply as for the standard receivers.  Each vertical receiver comes with instructions to convert your bolt (blueprint/template).  We can convert your bolt for you--Check our "Services" page for more information.

Left Side Cocking

bulletSame variations apply as for the standard and ventilated receivers.  With this version, there is no need to drill the bolt and relocate the cocking handle.  You will also get the added advantage of keeping your trigger hand in place while being able to cock the weapon.
